Join CMS for a foray to the Cascades with Cheshire Mayrsohn. We have new rules due to COVID-19. A lot fewer persons, no carpooling, masks required, and we will be social distancing whenever we are in a group.

You will be able to forage for mushrooms. But, we are hoping you will also be willing to bring your cell phone or camera with you and capture photos of mushrooms for the Virtual Mushroom Display, for our Virtual Mushroom Festival. Check out the Festival Mycoblitz page to learn more.
CMS Board President Cheshire Mayrsohn will lead this foray to the coast. Cheshire is a recently retired Botanist for the BLM and has been foraging for edible plants and mushrooms since childhood. Her interest in mushrooms of the Pacific Northwest started when she attended Freeman Rowe’s Biology of Mushrooms class at LCC in 1983. Cheshire leads forays annually for CMS and is a wealth of information about mushrooms and our locals forests.
Registration will begin October 14, 2020 at 6pm
